Cleanliness is not at the top of any company’s list of priorities. Not when more important tasks such as minimizing production cost and increasing profit are on the list. It’s not something that should be neglected, however.
The state of your office in Salt Lake City says a lot about you. Here are some assumptions a client can make when they see your clean office:
You Care About the Little Things
Running a business means being in constant communication with investors, clients, and employees. There’s bound to be less room for anything else. The fact that you managed to spare a few minutes to find a janitorial company means a great deal. It’s a small task that some companies often forget, and their reputation suffers because of it.
You Love Your Employees
You may have an excuse not to be in the office when you’re the big boss. There are meetings and conferences to attend, and you can come and go as you please. Your employees, however, are stuck in the office. It’s where they do their work, and the environment plays a big part in their productivity. Keeping the office clean means that you care for your employees’ well-being and are not sparing any expense to keep them healthy and focused on their task.
You Are Organized
You can still get the majority of tasks done even if you worked in an office with garbage everywhere. No one will have to know–unless they were in your office. If a client sees that everything is clean, they’ll assume you also take care of the more important things. They will associate you with positive traits such as trustworthiness, punctuality, and productivity. Your company could benefit from that trust.
You want your brand to be associated with positive things. You really should pay more attention to office cleanliness.
